This is my private photo gallery. I have taken almost all pics myself although my friends do tend to borrow my camera every now and then in an attempt to catch me in the act of doing... well, stuff I wouldn't put here anyway :)

This gallery is custom built from scratch by me. As you've probably already seen it's integrated with Google Maps and that gives a pretty nice overview of the places I've been. The google APIs are simple to use but require a lot of javascript, especially positioning the markers on the map. Feel free to have a look at the javascript source if you are curious.

Photos tend to be big and to solve the storage issue all photos are hosted by Flickr. I've built the entire site around their APIs so that uploading, deleteing and managing the album is all done in one place: right here on my site. All changes are then reflected on Flickr.

The downside to all this fancy stuff with google maps, ajax etc is that you can't use the site without javascript and I seriously recommend having a screen resolution that is bigger than 1024x768, especially if you want to view the slideshow. Firebug is also known to make the site not load properly from time to time.

If you find a photo that you think is inappropriate please post a comment and I'll have a look. I try to filter the photos before I upload but not everybody have the same preferences as I do.
